Let's talk about cinema
Through the projection of recent Latin American films, this workshop proposes to visualize and discuss cinematographic productions that challenge and broaden the image of contemporary Latin America. These are fictional films that seek to rescue the multiple and rich identities present in Latin American countries that escape the reductionist and hostile vision that the media seek to impose. In terms of humor or drama, action or art cinema, the films chosen give a multiple perspective on the complex fabric of communities that make up the contemporary image of Latin America. After the screening, we will make a debate between the participants following the reflections left by the film, in a dynamics of dialogue and learning.
Note: Selected films will have subtitles in French (or in English, depending on availability).
